Dear Mom and Dad
I enjoyed this land. This land has the most beautiful. It's cold - The tundra is the coldest of the biomes. The average temperature in the tundra is around -18 degrees. It's dry - The tundra gets about as much precipitation as the average desert, around 10 inches per year. Most of this is snow. But i am so happy to explore this land.
Thank you

Kia Ora Shriya,
ReplyDeleteWell done for responding to this SLJ activity, 'Living on the Edge' and for writing a letter to your parents, describing your time in the Tundra.
It really does look beautiful, doesn't it? I'm not sure how well I would handle the cold though. Don't forget, we need to make sure that we write things in our own words, I can see that you've taken some information here from the internet, which is fine— facts illustrating how cold it is, is good to use, but you need to make sure that you give credit to where you found this information. Simply adding a link or saying where you got this information from (eg. wikipedia), can help you to avoid plagiarism.
Do you think that you would visit this place some day?
Thanks,
Jordan
