SLJ: Your Comments Count

Kia Ora Everyone,

Here is my first task for the Summer Learning Journey program 2020. This task was about quality blog comments. I chose this blog post because I thought that I will give some positive feedback to Victoria. The comment that I wrote to Victoria was positive and helpful. It was positive because I gave her back a compliment about her work and it was helpful because I asked her if she could add some information about this picture. What kind of comment do you think I wrote? Was it positive, thoughtful or helpful?

Have a great and safe holiday everyone.

Thanks

Shriya

I think this is a fantastic comment Shriya! You've been thoughtful and helpful, while making suggestions for improvement and asking questions to encourage Victoria to share more.

It’s also very sweet to see you wishing them an amazing holiday, I hope you are safe and enjoy the summer as well,

Great start for the SLJ for yourself too, keep up the good work.
See you later in the comments.

  2. Kia Ora Shriya,

I'm Hayley, a Year 7 from Matawai School. I enjoyed reading you lovely feedback on Victoria's blog! Personally, I think that your comment was very helpful (in telling her what she could do next time) thoughtful and lastly very positive! Hopefully, your beautiful comment makes Victoria want to keep writing blog posts and maybe even write a description under each picture!

Once again, I think your comment is great!
    Happy holidays!

    Ma Te Wa,
    Hayley
