Fakaalofa lahi atu Everyone,
Today's task was about the weather in Te Reo Maori.
This task helps you learn about the weather in Te Reo.
I found this activity very easy and it was fun to do.
How many languages do you know?
Happy Holidays

I am a Year 8 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Peta. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

Great work with this activity, I must point out though that on slide 5 you need the last two words the other way around. It should be 'He rangi paki', 'He rangi hauaua' etc. I know, it's a bit confusing but no body said a new language would be easy haha.
He rangi paki i tēnei rā. It’s a nice day where I am, how about you?
Meri Kirihimete, Merry Christmas,

Kia Ora Ben,
DeleteThank you for your comment and Merry Christmas to you.
Kia Ora Shyria, this is Nese from your class. I like your working out on the Te Reo Maori SLJ task and while I was looking through I said to myself that you might lead a good example for other kids that can't speak maori. My question is would you like to lead a maori class when you grow up?
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and Happy New Year
Kia Ora Nese, this is Shriya from your class. Thank you for your kind and positive feedback on my work. I really appreciate your kind words. That is actually a good question you have asked me. If I get better at Te Reo Maori then maybe I will open up a class to teach children about Te Reo Maori and to speak Te Reo Maori.
