I am a Year 8 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Peta. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Summer Learning Journey programme 2018-2019! I'm so pleased to see that you've joined us this summer as we delve in to matters of our environment— we're going to learn so much together!
Well done for completing this activity and for telling us whether or not you'd like to visit the historic kauri tree, Tāne Mahuta. Wow, thank you so much for telling us a bit about this tree, including the native birds and animals that delve within and around it— can you tell me what kind of animals or native birds surround Tāne Mahuta? I'm really happy to see that you've been able to tell us how old the tree is, that's incredible! How did you find this information?
Don't forget to attribute your image of Tāne Mahuta — that means that we have to give credit to this image. We can give credit to an image by giving it a correct name (for example: Image of scrambled eggs) and saying where it came from along with a link to the web page (for example: breakfast recipes).
I look forward to your response and to reading many more of your awesome blog posts!
Thanks,
Jordan
