  1. Morning Shriya,

Well done for completing another Summer Learning Journey activity, 'The Legend of New Zealand', and for providing us with your 'Top 3 Fun Facts' about New Zealand. I'm so glad to see that you've chosen the Women's Suffrage Movement as your first fact— this is a historical movement that changed the lives of many women, and not only within New Zealand, but around the rest of the world, too. Did you know though, that women in Saudi Arabia weren't allowed to vote until 2015?! There's still a lot of work to be done to help gain full equality around the world, but New Zealand has certainly shown progressiveness with the Women's Suffrage Movement.
Did you know also, that English and Te Reo Māori aren't the only official languages? Sign Lanugage is also an official language of our country. Do you know any sign language?

I look forward to reading your response to this one!

Keep up the great work :)

    Jordan.

  3. Kia Ora Shriya,

Thanks for responding to my comment, because this is a very thoughtful response I'll be rewarding you with 2 bonus points— well done.
Sorry, I think I may have confused you. Te Reo Māori, English AND Sign language are ALL offical languages of New Zealand.

    Cheers,

    Jordan
