What I have done this week

Kia Ora Everyone, This week my class and I did some art work about landscape and now we are doing Te Reo Maori. In the mornings we play this game called dodgeiline. For maths we did fractions and our success criteria is to use skip counting/doubles to solve the problem.

We all know about the pandemic that has be happening around the world which is called Coronavirus or Covid-19. I have done this project to show how this virus spreads and what can we do to be safe and not get the virus.

Maths: Turning percentage into fractions

 

Kia Ora Everyone,

This week my class and I were working on how to turn a percentage into a fraction for maths. I will give you an example.

The percent is 80% and you can do two fractions such as 8/10 or 80/100.

I will give you some questions and lets see if you can solve them:

1. 40%

       2.  70%      

            3.   20%         

       4.   30%
